At Limeloop, we’re re-imagining the packaging experience by creating a sustainable alternative to traditional shipper materials (think so long cardboard boxes). This early stage startup sits at the intersection of design and technology, providing our customers with a beautiful reusable shipper and access to a platform to track and monitor their fleet.
Join us as we re-imagine the packaging experience. We’re looking for an avid tinkerer to join our growing team where you’ll use your specialist knowledge to help shape, design, and guide the product exploration. You will conduct a feasibility study on the wireless sensor portion of the shipper. You will assist in the preparation of reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternative systems, equipment, materials or engineering methods.
This is a great opportunity for anyone with the outlined background who wants to gain experience in product research and design, and has an interest in early stage startup culture and workflow.
The role is for a part-time, 3 month internship starting July 2018. Stipend based compensation.

Explore landscape of existing off-the-shelf products/sensors
Estimate cost, reliability, and safety factors.
Specify power supply requirements and configuration.
Identify potential product prototypes and good testing procedures.
Explore regulatory requirements such as FCC and CE safety.
Document and deliver your findings

Have a good understanding of sensor capabilities and experience developing wireless network sensors.
